MI (Alan Turing) Building Refurbishment
Willmot Dixon our Category A supply chain partner has been appointed as the main contractor for University of Wolverhampton to deliver £3.9m refurbishment.
Refurbishing the ground floor, part of the first floor and second floor of the Alan Turing Building creating a professional working environment for film, television, and animation.
The new school benefits from a video studio with movable partitions, new production space, equipment store and a multipurpose studio which can accommodate more students. Including new mac labs, edit suite, staff office and a production base room.
For the start of the academic year in September 2021 the refurb project has provided more than 32,000 sq. ft of flexible and modern teaching spaces across two buildings, with new finishes, layouts, and furnishings.
John Watson will supply 60 internal doorsets in a mix of FD30, FD60 and NFR Formica laminate doorsets with vision panels. Fully machined for ironmongery.
