Gascoigne East Phase 2
Willmott Dixon (Category A Supply Chain Partner) has been appointed main contractor for Gascoigne East Phase 2. Working with Barking and Dagenham Councils regeneration programme. Demolition stage has completed on the east side 1960’s era of the Gascoigne Estate transforming the area into an environmentally friendly, modern community.
Overall, 3 phases will be completed. Phase 1 known as Weavers Quarter building 421 new homes. Large areas of the old estate will be demolished and replaced with new flats, maisonettes and Greatfieds School.
Phases 2 & 3 will deliver a further mix of shared ownership, affordable rents, and properties for sale. Giving a further 1160 new homes to the area.
JWD will supply a total of 1469 internal doorsets in a mix of fire ratings. 156 of the doorsets are American white Oak veneered PAS24 front entrance doors with the remaining doors Kraft Paper faced.
